I booked the Full Grooming Premium Package for my dog, which was supposed to include all services from bathing to trimming. When I arrived, the lady who was Sitting outside the petco must be enjoying her free time , suddenly she came Behind me to the dog grooming reception, while I was about to sign the paper work and showing my pet s vaccination record to the gentleman who was serving me. She interrupted us and refused to complete the service, saying that the hair near my dog’s ear was “too much” and that I needed to take her to a veterinarian instead. She even mentioned that my dog could bleed and might need emergency care, which completely shocked me. My dog has been regularly groomed elsewhere and has never had any such issue before. I found her attitude very unprofessional and alarming. Instead offering a careful solution, she was dismissive and unwilling to proceed. It left me confused and upset, especially since I came for a premium service and expected proper care and expertise. Overall, I do not recommend this grooming service. The experience was stressful and far from professional. There are many other groomers who handle pets with care, respect, and genuine understanding.

- ADAllen DobbsOct 24, 20251.0I went to Petco to get my service dog groomed where I was informed she needed to be leashed, which she can not be due to the service she performs. When this was reported to the store manager, Trent, he argued with my wife on the phone and cited ADA policy (which we are well versed in) and conveniently left out the part that says as long as the animal is under control through verbal or hand control then a leash is not required if it interferes with the service th animal performs. I’ve attached a photo and will be reporting this store. Unfortunately, I would recommend using a different Petco location or just going to Petsmart instead.
