FRAUD ALERT. If you see it say anywhere, that the first visit is free…… it is a Lie. The first visit is how they sign you up for a $900+ plan, $170-200 on the spot with reoccurring payments you “can’t cancel” without being charged “for the services used”. But $500 is charged up in things you never asked for in the very first “free” visit. Nice people, but not so great/honest marketing or business practices. Update 4 weeks later: I reached out via email, as requested here. The response was: so sorry, call the store. I spoke with Banfield billing as well as the store manger. And she very rudely informed me, for the first time, when their vet insisted I select a “plan” to lower the up front cost of my 6lb dog’s necessary vaccines………apparently my agreement to a plan meant they would also add a bunch of unnecessary things to the bill too. This experience has been absolutely awful, the ultimate bait and switch. Now my dog still has vaccines he needs weeks later, that I have to pay for out of pocket somewhere else because even for all I’ve already paid those still aren’t covered AND I still have to pay this wicked corporate company an additional $300 just to cancel the plan. (If I don’t, the total would be nearly $1000 over the next year). And despite making it clear that they charged me for things I did not ask for, they refuse to alter the $500 charged up in one visit. Zero customer service, just, pushing me to keep the plan. To be clear, the care my dog actually needed could have been just $150-200 at a local vaccine clinic. Not $500+. Christmas, while healing from major surgery, might be light for my family this year thanks to this FRAUDULENT company! I am sharing so hopefully others can learn about their unacceptable practices, before it’s too late.

I took my dog Montana for dental cleaning today. Dr. Caroline Eckstrom and her team did a very excellent job. My dog teeth are very clean and shining. Thank you so much.

The staff is very attentive. This is the best place I have found for Minnie’s care, offering excellent service at a reasonable price. Here’s Minnie 14 years old after a surgery at Banfield Vienna

AVOID DR WU - Absolutely unacceptable treatment of our dog – avoid this vet at all costs. We had a deeply disturbing experience at this clinic that left us shaken and furious. The veterinarian who saw our dog was not just lacking in bedside manner, he was aggressive, forceful, and outright harmful in the way he handled her. When administering the Bordetella vaccine (a simple nasal spray that we’ve given her for years without issue), he struck her in the face with the applicator. There is absolutely no reason for such physicality with a non-invasive spray, especially for a dog that was already calm and cooperative. It got worse. During her rectal exam, he violently yanked her tail upward, overextending it to the point where his own hand was visibly shaking. Our dog yelped, and we were horrified. This was not firm restraint, it was objectively painful and unnecessary force. This individual did not seem in control of his emotions or actions. There is a serious difference between being no-nonsense and being unhinged, and unfortunately, he crossed every line. Based on what we saw, I have real concerns about his behavioral stability and whether he should be practicing around animals at all. We’re heartbroken that our dog had to go through this. If you care about your pet’s emotional and physical well-being, do not bring them here.
