STAY AWAY. The service couldn’t be less pleasant nor less convenient. Their “Veterinarian” (and I’m being generous calling her that) is rude to humans and discomforting to animals. Their hours change every week. You can’t email them. You can’t call Vetco locally… though they do have a number that will route you to an entirely unhelpful call center in India 24 hours a day. And their area inside the Petco is very unsettling for the animals… they had to muzzle my dog, he’s never had to be muzzled before. Don’t fall for the Vital Care Premier either… your Vetco bill will be more than a traditional Veterinarian with worse service and extra trauma for your pet.

I have been going to the VETCO clinic for years. Never had any problem until yesterday. I too my 2 dogs to get their shots one of my dogs have allergies and a mass on her stomach that the have noted from several of my visits. The intake person lied and said there’s no mention of it but when I showed her the vetco documents that stated they know she had it . Because of this they refused to give my dog her vaccinations. I log into my email today to see that they posted a prescription for neck guard for my dog that they did vaccinate however the person who gave me my ppwk never mentioned it. Needless to say I will NOT be taking my dogs to them ever again

The customer service was amazing!!! However as a manager in the medical field I’m very friendly and my baby is the absolute sweetest all the technicians flocked to her saying how cute she was. We went it in for an overdue wellness visit! Thank you for the flea prevention and bill over $200. But her Ears were not checked!!! I’ll call tomorrow of course but I know her ears weren’t checked. Maybe I’m wrong but I assumed any wellness check would look with an otoscope but that was not done!!!! Yes she’s beautiful well taken care of but I brought her in thinking she was seeing a vet. Norfolk SPCA will do everything for under $125 and looked at your babies ears, etc. I was not allowed in the room with her or id or asked the so called vet. I was only able to talk to the sales person she was nice. This review does not reflect on the technicians or employees. It reflects on Vetco. Assuming this is company policy. VA peeps keep your babies vaccinated and healthy. Norfolk SPCA, Dog and Cat hospital. This is why I hate corporate it’s just wrong! We will not be back. I’ll wait an hour for The SPCA or go to a real vet. Don’t g and cat hospital, deep creek veterinary and churchland veterinary. Set your appointment in advance or wait walk in only SPCA. Vetco is a scam and it’s not the employees it’s company policy
