  The employees, Alexis and William are very unprofessional and rude. When asked to help a customer William would rather give slick remarks and rude comments, and Alexis would rather blow kisses and stare down customers and argue. and talk about customers with William to the point where the supervisor has to come up and assist the customers because these two are unable to because of their ignorance.

  I definitely love this place here I purchase all my fish supplies from here the people are friendly and knowledgeable and helpful anytime I have a problem with one of my fish tanks I can always come in and ask questions

  ⭐☆☆☆☆ We’ve used Petco Grooming at 1011 University Blvd., Suffolk, VA for about four years and have maintained an excellent history with our dog (no behavioral or health concerns). We also have an active Vital Care plan. Unfortunately, today we had a very negative experience with Britney (groomer) and Rachel (grooming manager). The interaction was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I asked to speak with a manager, Rachel arrived without greeting or introducing herself, seemed irritated immediately, and appeared to take the groomer’s side without asking what happened or listening to our concern. Rachel walked over repeating information we believe was inaccurate, and instead of trying to resolve the issue, she approached the conversation in a confrontational manner. She did not attempt to offer an alternative time or solution and stated: “Petco expects their customers to have documents ready when they walk in the door. They have 15 dogs waiting to be groomed.” When we addressed the poor customer service, she became defensive and said, “You are not a customer because we will not be servicing your dog.” That is an unacceptable way to speak to a long-standing customer—especially one on an active plan. After this incident, our account was flagged, which now prevents us from booking grooming appointments, and the note attached to the flag contains false accusations that do not reflect our four-year history at this location or the personality of our sweet pup. We were also told we were no longer welcome in the Suffolk store. We have had positive experiences with other groomers here (especially Trent), so this was disappointing and unexpected. I’ve requested follow-up from corporate leadership and was told the general manager is Dallas. I hope Petco resolves this promptly by removing the inaccurate flag and addressing staff conduct. We should not be inconvenienced with calling a location each time we need to book an appointment and told we were not customers.
