  Highly under staffed! Staff does not check in with families who have been waiting for 3 hours with a sick cat. Still waiting! No care at all! Regret coming here with my sweet cat. Waiting area is 67 degrees and freezing. My cat Finally taken for bloodwork with zero updates. Staff shirts say they love our pets as much as the owners. Funny way of showing that or any empathy.

  After not getting answers for our dog’s rapidly progressing condition at multiple other clinics, we came to RVRC desperate for solutions. All of the staff at RVRC were incredibly supportive, professional, and got our pup in for an MRI immediately. CCU Nurse Fani, Dr. Kees, Dr. Divita and Dr. Hollingsworth were amazing and helped us get through a tough time with high level care for our dog and empathy and communication for us. If you are looking for a clinic with the highest level of competence and customer service, RVRC should be your first and only stop!

  Come here to feel supported with your precious baby My beloved cat Scully was my first cat and in early 2024 she got mammary cancer. I took her here for treatment and the oncologist Dr. Wilson-Robles (and everyone else) was truly wonderful. Scully was never going to survive, but we did what we could to prolong her life comfortably. Unfortunately she succumbed to her disease pretty quickly- but here I felt comfortable and strong enough to make the decision to put an end to her suffering as soon as she was having complications. TLDR: I could not have felt safer or more supported to do the right thing for my girl than I did here. I felt safe that we were trying the best option for her and also that I wasn't getting taken advantage of regarding her treatment plan and being charged or encouraged to try a lot of things that were not going to help her. It was a good balance between offering help to prolong her life but also talking about whether I should, without any pressure. The appointments didn't take long and I never felt like I was waiting a long time but didn't feel rushed or like my baby wasn't important and the TV and coffee in the waiting area provide a welcome distraction during a stressful time. And I felt like I could really trust the care of my baby with Dr. Wilson-Robles. I could not recommend this place more if you're looking for good care for your fur baby, it was truly an environment of compassion and caring during a really terrible time in my life. The prices were also very reasonable and I wasn't left feeling sticker shock (even though I had pet insurance, the upfront prices/expenses on the whole were lower than I expected unlike at other vets I had taken her to in the past)

  Wow, no idea what these reviews are talking about. If you go for emergency care (after hours) they have very limited staff severely limiting tests that can be conducted and lab tests can still take days. 2 days for an important test for us. That's after waiting 4 hours for our turn (with my fur baby alone in the back) then being told the few tests they can run will be conducted after the techs complete their other tasks, 2 additional hours for us. Additionally, if you choose to be placed on the "urgent" test list by admitting your pet to the hospital through the ER, these are conducted whenever the tech chooses to make time in between regularly scheduled appointments which could be sometime during the day of after. Half a day and still nothing for a serious condition for us..."that's just our policy" From our experience, it's basically, if it's minor you get "treated" and leave but if it's major it's just an admitting service

  If you’re looking between emergency vets to bring your baby, read this review. I brought my sweet cat Toby here after he had some major issues eating and didn’t get better after some intervention at our usual vet because he needed some more intensive care. I brought him here and I’m so happy I did. His vet, Dr. Kees, was an angel on earth. She called me in the evening like she promised and first thing in the morning to give me updates. I was nervous about him and even called a few times between and I would always be transferred where I could speak to a vet or vet tech. Even some of the evening staff sent me a picture of him so I could see how he was doing! They were so thorough to make sure he had everything he needed. While we may have a road ahead, he’s doing SO much better and is back to eating again with his spunky personality. They were even empathic enough to notice how anxious he was and allowed him to have an isolation room with a window where they could monitor him but turn the lights down to keep him calm. Is this place pricey? Yes but normal for any emergency vet. They are thorough, have specialists available, clear about everything you’re paying for, and genuinely have such a kind group of people working there. Everyone there truly cares. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. All emergency vets have some negative reviews because let’s be real, we typically are going on one of the worst days we can ever imagine and I’m a believer that people usually don’t write reviews when they have a good experience, especially at an emergency vet because they want to put that behind them. I personally was blown away so I just had to. RVRC does their best to make sure you AND your baby are comfortable and has what they need. They pick up the phone quickly and even when you drop them off say you can call ANY time. Thank you so much to all of you and all you’ve done to help my baby! Now he’s back to cuddling with me on a fuzzy blanket on the sofa, drinking water, and eating.
