  This will be my last order from Petco. I was trying to support local businesses Petco is approximately 2 miles from my home. I placed an order February 9, 2026. Today is February 14, 2026 still no order. Tracking says February 17, 2026. Ridiculous I'm out of dry cat food now I have to buy some more. I'm going back to Chewy. Good Luck.

  Most everyone has been extremely helpful, since stopping in a handful of times after recently adopting a rescue puppy. However, my husband and I had to bite our tongues today... This guy who checked us out today (didn't get his name, tall, slender, ponytail) told me there would be a prompt to donate to local animal charities, and then I could complete the payment. Once I declined the charity, I then got to the payment screen. For some reason he chose to say loudly, "Customer declined donating to the charity--okay, now it'll take your payment." I'm not sure if it was intended to be rude, or if he was just monitoring the steps on the screen. We not only donate plenty to local shelters, but have exclusively owned rescue animals. You've gotta tell that dude to either not judge and try to embarrass customers, or if he didn't mean it that way, maybe some very basic soft skills would help. We're going elsewhere, that won't shame us for not further emptying our wallets after getting highly priced but locally available necessities. ✌️

  I am a hamster owner and have been for years. ive never had issues but the last 3 I got from here die within a few months. The manager there absolutely terrorizes them. I understand you must remove the house from them while they are sleeping. but then she jabs her fingers at them and they will legitimately scream in terror. I adopted a syrian who was given a mouse wheel, so he never got to run on a wheel in his life because he was literally too big to stand on it. the following hamster was so traumatized it took him 3 days to stop screaming whenever he would see me, and even after multiple months, he would startle so easily in a way ive NEVER seen in a syrian. I understand big petstores will never have ethical hamster cages, but please at least make sure they have a wheel they can use, and aren't traumatized by the staff.
