We haven’t been established with a vet in Virginia yet as we have just moved here recently from NC. I decided to give vetco a try to get my cat in for simply her annual shots and maybe save a little money in the process. I can’t speak for all vetco locations but do NOT waste your time at this one. Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff, when you can even find them in store. It seems they are better equipped to handle dogs so maybe that would be a better experience but they should not accept cats then. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAT HERE! Just wait for an ACTUAL vet appointment and they will treat you and your pet as you should be.

Hello, my name is Tyga, and I’m just a cat.
I’m saying this because today the people at this clinic treated me like I was supposed to act like a human. Before anyone even touched me, I hissed a little — only because I was stressed and anxious (and there was a damn dog nearby). But instead of understanding that, they refused to give me my vaccine or care for me at all.
I’m just a cat, dude. But instead of helping me, they told my mom and dad, “We can’t able do this,” packed me back up, and even sent us away without giving me my drop medicine. That broke my tiny orange heart. 😿

I have been taking my dogs there for few years and has help me with the high cost of multiple pets. I'm able to get all of their shots and meds without breaking the bank. I'm always pleased with their service and treated with respect.
