  Customer service is awful. Walk in the store and you have to hunt the whole store to find someone, then when asked for help not one but both act as if you are not even there. One even rolled his eye twice when asked a question. Never again

  I'd give zero stars if I could. Went in for fish. The sign on the tank said buy 3, get one free. Cool! So after waiting for 5 minutes to get help, the associate got my fish. Went to the checkout and they said they were not on z sale. Got the manager. She walked over with myself and the (only) cashier. Said no, they're not buying 3, get one free, despite the sign clearly posted on the glass. Manager said she'd take me up to the register, then said she'd be right with me and disappeared helping another associate. I get back in the new huge line. Finally I got to the register, handed the cashier the bag of fish and told her they can put them back. I was fed up, since my last experience was also far from stellar. This place needs a staff that actually cares about customer service. Especially a decent manager. Done with this place.

  I will never take my dog back here. Especially to Gigi who gave me back my dog soaking wet and claimed “he wouldn’t let her dry him” for his haircut. Absolutely ridiculous. My dog has been going here for about 10 years and I have NEVER experienced this. I dropped him off at about 3:00 for his 3:30 appointment and did not get a call until about 6:30 right before they closed at 7. It was below freezing outside and he was soaking wet when I picked him up. The worst part was I had to pay for the whole bath and haircut when I did not receive the whole service. I even brought it to the manager, Hannah, and she didn’t do anything about it like she said she would.

  Store is clean and staff is friendly enough, however all of the feeder bugs especially the crickets are dead and have been dead long enough for them to mold amd then dry out, amd that aisle smells horrible, the domino roaches and isopods were packaged in November of 2025 and here is is March 2026, tried calling corporate to file a complaint but its hard to communicate with someone that doesn't understand English. Done shopping at petco, shit is dead and vastly overpriced.
