ENSURE THEY GIVE YOU YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS AND DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFER THEM TO THE PETCO PHARMACY WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. THE MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They automatically transfer them and then you are not able to take it to the pharmacy you want to use. We have spent days trying to get our pet's medications transferred over. The customer service team is horrible. We have been disregarded, hung up on, and blatantly lied to. They started off with that their only process was to submit a request to the internal team and expedite it. We gave them the information to call or fax the transfer of the prescription. This could have been resolved within a short time by anyone willing to help. When we continued to hear nothing, we asked but were denied a phone number or contact information for the internal department, the supervisor, or anyone else that can actually help us. We had to insist several times to get a supervisor and were continuously denied again. Then we were told a supervisor would call us back, on 4 separate occasions but never received a call back. Twice I was told I would be transferred but they either hung up or transferred me back to the main line. After additional calls, I was told that the supervisor was on the line with the internal team (even though there isn't a phone number or way to contact them) and that the issue would be resolved in the next few minutes and that I should be able to go to my pharmacy to pick up my prescription that day. Yep, didn't happen. Called back the next day and got the same run around that the internal team has the request. The next day, we still do not have our prescriptions and therefore are without the medication we need for our dog. FORCING CUSTOMERS TO PURCHASE THEIR MEDS FROM PETCO IS UNETHICAL. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The vet clinic staff were superb! They weighed my cat, gave him a treat distraction while he got his shot and had a valuable recommendation for us as we checked out!
