My MaltiPoo is behind on her bath because on two separate occasions PETCO has cancelled her appointments. Once they were out of hot water and then 2 weeks later because their groomer called out from work then today they wanted to charge me extra and shave her for so called matting! No attempt to even comb it out just oh it’s too close to her skin. I already shared before that prefer PetSmart cutting her but I still bring her to PETCO for a bath. So then the person proceeded to tell me that if I don’t get her shaved down they won’t even bathe her! I said it’s too cold to shave her - and I was fine if they needed to cut surface spot. Still no we have to shave her 100%- I’ve never heard that! I cancelled my appointment and will not be coming back to this location! 3rd failed attempt in 30 days - I’m taking her to Pet Smart tomorrow!

Her response was “We have no control over that.” “What you see is what we see.” And on a previous visit, I came out in the snow to get my dogs some snacks. I asked the salesperson whether there were any more products like the one I was buying available. He said, “Probably,” but we have other stock to get out first.” You can't make this up. The customer service is poor. I shop there as little as possible. No wonder there is so much merchandise on the shelves. This place has a “shop & go” attitude. Don’t shop and need assistance. You will be out of luck!
