I’ve been going to this Banfield for about 5 years now, and the only reason I’ve stayed on the wellness plan and banfield for my dogs is because of Dr. Swieter — he’s truly amazing, patient, and caring. I don’t even mind waiting for him (I’ve waited 45 minutes or more before my appointment, which is okay and that’s not the issue at all with me because I know he takes his time with each patient).
However, today’s front-desk experience was really disappointing. After waiting a total of about an hour and a half from my appointment time, I asked the receptionist, Reina, or Rena, if I could see a breakdown of the services and charges after she showed me that she ran my CareCredit like I asked
her. She said we need to wait for the receipts to print out. After it did, she put in front of me without looking at me and turned around.
When I asked if I was being charged for the office visit, She looked shocked that I even asked, paused for several seconds, and responded in a sarcastic way — saying things like, “Ma’am, nobody ever explained these things to you?”
Actually I didn’t really know what exactly I was being charged , we did multiple services and ai was just interested to know and wanted to show my husband.
And honestly, isn’t the front desk supposed to speak to customers, answer questions, and explain charges clearly when someone asks? I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable — just clarity.
I love Dr. Swieter, and will see him. but the front desk experience really left a bad feeling, and I’m now thinking about switching to another office which I hope he still travels. Front-desk interactions matter just as much as the medical care, and today made me feel like I’m not welcome or valued here.

Had a great experience here with my dog. She needed a vaccination and was easy to get an appointment and the doctor was great

I wish I could make this zero stars, I’ve never been so disappointed in a banfield location. They treated both me and my dog horribly every time I’ve tried to come here. Please go to another location.

Extremely rude and unprofessional front desk staff. Booked a appointment online because it said this location has availability for same day. Got a call an hour before the appointment from someone telling me they had no availability even know it let me it let me schedule the appointment. When I was telling them how inconvenient this is and unacceptable and said that they will see her because the appointment was there they hung up on me. Definitely never be coming to this location I would not trust them with my dog for an emergency.

This was our first visit to this location, and I was very pleased with the outstanding customer service. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. Our dog was seen by Dr. Johnson, who was attentive, thorough in her explanations, and offered thoughtful treatment recommendations. She truly went above and beyond. Thank you for your professionalism and care!

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
