- KKKaitlynApr 22, 20265.0I almost left Banfield entirely a few years ago because of this location, but I tried again (usually we go to the Banfield in Leesburg inside of PetSmart). My girl is older now and has always been really anxious at the vet. Often medications prescribed do not work for her, and it is challenging for vets to get any work done with her. Dr. Amantha S Johnson was literally amazing with her. She allowed breaks for my girl to calm down and got on the ground with her, fed her treats, etc. My girl was the best she has ever been at the vet because of Dr. Johnson and we will definitely be going back! The man at the front was really kind, informative, and helpful too. Can't say enough good things about this location. It is much better than any other Banfield I have visited in the northern VA area, and they were able to fit me in for an emergency appointment.

I called the Banfield and they got me right in! I used to use Banfield for many years when I lived in Northern Virginia, but after my experience with them with my new rescue pup, I might make the drive back to Leesburg because of the great service I received. The front end staff was super friendly, and the vet took great care of my pitbull pup and spent time talking to me and answering any questions I had. Customer service is so important in a field like this and they knocked it out of the park. I appreciate the help they gave me for my Pitbull pup! Thank you so much!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
