I had switched vets to try to find a more affordable option, but I will be going back to my original vet, the cost is worth it apparently. I want to start by saying Dr. Heather Oltjen is amazing. Unfortunately I can't say the same for anything else. I was trying to get medication sorted for my pet. After months of trying two different methods, pills then a topical, at my last appt after being told her levels are still extremely high, I wanted to go back to the original pill method but with a higher dose, since the original dose did not being dow her levels. Apparently either that is too confusing or worse the different vet that did help me, did not check my pets history. If she had, she would have known she was prescribing me the EXACT SAME STARTING DOSE that was already tried. To make matters worse, at first when I was confused, I simply wanted to know how much we were increasing the dose. I also wanted to use Chewy to fill my prescriptions as it is much cheaper. Not only was there backlash on me trying to do it with Chewy versus in house (about twice the cost), the cherry on top was when I realized what was happening with the dosing being the same and confronted the vet (after sending multiple emails, which were skimmed over as well as she was not up to date on what information I was trying to get), she was unable to admit she prescribed the same dose. Instead of owning up to her mistake and admitting she obviously did not look at my pets history (we had only been there since December, not like I'm asking for years worth of information) she avoided telling me the truth. I will NEVER be back. After getting my history files sent to me, I went instead to speak with a Chewy vet online for $50 and in 15 minutes we had her correct dosage ready to be ordered for next day delivery. I will be going back to my original vet for the blood tests.

I took my recently adopted Mastiff, Gio to this location. I’ve had issues with other Banfield locations in the area so I was nervous, but they were phenomenal. The vet techs were amazing! They explained all the plans available and what they offered. For me, this makes it affordable. They did everything there in the office. Dr. Law and the tech assisting were hands down the best at handling my guy. I wasn’t sent home to give dewormer or try to get a fecal. They did it all right there which saved me time and stress having to do it all at home. I would recommend Dr. Law and her team.

Banfield is starting to fall from glory, in my humble opinion. When they make a procedural recommendation, I would council you to follow-up with questions and try to learn what is essential vs. “nice to have but it will cost a lot.” Then, when I really needed customer service, I found phone calls to be frustrating and that they were really relying on me to make all of the follow-through; even for matters that they said that they would take care of. Bottom line, look out for yourself. If it’s forecasted to be slick outside, call ahead. Most likely they’re not open.

If you want to stand in line forever early in the morning along with too many other folks who are given the exact same drop off time as you, all for one single person to process at the front desk, and if you enjoy being tricked into upgrading wellness plans without clear information on the terms, then this is the place for you. Don't get me started on the rotating vets who also quickly tire of this god-awful place and leave, or the almost always grumpy receptionists because they're undoubtedly overworked, so it's not their fault they're grumpy, but what'd I do to be the recipient of their ire? 0/10... WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Terrible Experience ... do not come here... staff enjoys giving you the run around. Keeps making you come back and waste time. Again terrible experience... dog is 13 years old, deaf and blind, falls down the stairs, pees in the house...I did the tests they wanted... they told me to come back for urine test... did that... said they would give the prescription for the medicine.... when I came back with the urine, it was tested... I paid for that... I expected to get prescription... they told me the doctor who saw me originally wasn’t there that day and I needed to Pay for another visit if I wanted the preciption...why would I do that? ... they were the ones who told me to come back in the first place... I already paid all these fees... UNBELIEVABLE ... again terrible service... im not willing to keep putting more money into the dog and they’re giving me challenges for asking for her to get out down ... I love this dog... but dogs have a life span Macee is the one who is giving the sass
