To make matters worse, when I tried to buy a fish, they refused to sell me one even though the store was open until 8 PM and the tank lights were off—clearly an excuse to avoid serving customers. This level of poor customer service combined with neglectful animal care is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who actually cares about their pets. They need to step up or shut down.

I drove an hour and a half specifically to purchase fish from this store, only to be told when I arrived that they were unable to sell any fish because the tank lights were turned off. This happened on Wednesday night Jan. the 7th 2026 at 6:40 PM, even though the store is supposedly open until 8:00 PM. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If a business advertises that it is open until 8:00, customers should reasonably expect to be able to purchase the products the store sells during those hours. Turning off tank lights and refusing to sell fish more than an hour before closing makes absolutely no sense. I made a special trip just for this purchase, wasted gas, and wasted several hours of my time, only to be turned away for a ridiculous reason. No warning online, no sign posted-nothing. Just "we can't sell fish." I was highly annoyed and frustrated by the entire situation. Why even bother being open until 8:00 if you're not willing or able to sell fish? This experience was a complete waste of time.
