Made my appt for 4:15… didn’t even get checked in for an hour+. Didn’t leave til almost 7:30, meanwhile I’m pregnant, my dog is going insane, I have to use the bathroom, I’m starving …. And if you don’t come on time they’ll cancel your appointment . So basically I have to be on time but they can take three hours to get me in and out for one exam. And nowadays they try to take your dog to the back for their exam. I don’t do that , I don’t like it. My dog is anxious and is better with me holding him than some strangers holding him and poking and prodding . I’m sure any animal would be … but it seemed like an inconvenience when I had made that point clear . I wouldn’t let a doctor take my child without me who can’t talk yet they’re not taking my dog until absolutely necessary.
They didn’t tell me much I didn’t already know, they didn’t even have an exact diagnosis for what I came for, but tried to get me to get multiple other things I didn’t ask for or bring up as a cause for concern.
Overall , I got the antibiotics that I needed, my dog got his shot but would I return? Not unless it was my last option .

The front desk lady was rude. I was late because I’m not familiar with the roads and when I got there I told her if there’s no opening for me I can leave she says no you can wait for an hour and we will see you. So I went to get coffee and 10 minutes later she’s calling and texting me to come back. When I go back I was put in a room cold as a fridge and told to wait. Waited for over an hour with my puppy and when I went out to see if anyone is coming she rudely told me to go back inside. Another person comes to tell me that they forgot about me. So I was like I’m already here I’m still gonna wait just not in that freezing room. We waited another 30 minutes just to be seen and given a prescription. Overall the experience was terrible. I would never go back there.

We brought our yorkie to location 1897 (HAMPTON, VA) for a wellness visit today. We have had him for almost a year and have been primarily coming to this location from the beginning. We are always warmly greeted and receive thorough, considerate and patient service. The entire team is collectively an absolute asset to the company. Upon his assessment, some concerning issues were brought to our attention. Karla took the time to alleviate our worries and answered our MANY questions with extensive knowledge, grace and patience. We left feeling much more confident about impending future decisions. Stellar customer service! Very much appreciated!
