- SSSJKOct 14, 20251.0We booked our dog’s grooming appointment with a specific groomer, but when we arrived, we weren’t informed that she wouldn’t be the one doing the service. Instead, our dog was placed with another groomer we’ve had before, who unfortunately hasn’t done a good job in the past. Had we known, we would not have proceeded with the appointment. We were later told that they couldn’t clean his face folds because he wouldn’t allow it, which is surprising since our dog has been coming to this location for years and no one has ever had an issue cleaning them. When we got home, we were able to clean his folds ourselves without any problem. We also discovered that his ears hadn’t been cleaned at all, and we were not informed of this during pickup. Additionally, we had to apply paw balm and nose balm ourselves because they said they couldn’t apply it. While he doesn’t love the nose balm, he’s never aggressive—he just moves his head away. His nails also appear to have been barely trimmed. Overall, this visit was disappointing and felt like a waste of time and money. We’ve been loyal customers for years, but this experience has us reconsidering whether we’ll continue coming here. At the very least, customers should be notified if their requested groomer won’t be available before the service begins.

As much as I tried to keep up with it they found a few more. They didn't judge me or upcharge because of them or that he was a wiggle worm that made their job difficult. The price was more affordable than boutique groomers and they didn't charge me more because he has "poodle" in his breed name. Even with tip it was under $80. I will be going back for his next spa day.
