Most places, the employees couldn't know or care any less about the animals they're selling, or they recommend inadequate care as fact instead of admitting they don't know, but not here. On a whim my wife and I came here to buy a Dwarf Hamster. I usually do a ton of research and learn all I can beforehand, but this time we went in spur of the moment and with zero care knowledge. Thank *GOD* we found Madison that day! She was *amazing* and knew all about the dwarf hamsters and what we'd need for ours, as well as what they *actually* need to thrive, not just survive! She was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. She helped us for well over an hour as I asked a billion questions and as she helped us pick out every single thing we'd need for our new little friend. Madison never once looked annoyed or was anything other than super kind and helpful even as I asked 500 questions and she helped us every single step of the way. *So* glad we ran into her that day and went to this petco! On another note, I walked all through the store and all the fish and other animals looked healthy and well taken care of as well, with clean areas and tanks! I'm a massive nerd when it comes to all types of animals and am used to seeing subpar care at chain stores, but this petco knows it's stuff and you can tell they *actually* care about all the animals in their care. Come here if you're looking for knowledgeable, kind people with an excellent selection of products at a good price!
