I’ve been keeping fish for almost 7 years and decided to pick up some Priscilla tetra (2) and add them to my large community tank with guppies, clown plecos, Cory catfish, platies, snails, etc. All my fish were doing amazing, the tank was thriving, and within a day or 2 of putting those 2 fish in there they BOTH had ick disease/parasite covered in white spots and twitching. It had spread to almost every other fish in my rank, and killed one platy , one Cory catfish, one pleco, one Lyretail guppy, and has spread spots onto my other platies neon tetra, etc. These sre fish I’ve had for a very long time and were otherwise healthy until Petco’s fish were added. I have never experienced anything like this or even had any problems with ick until I bought their fish. I will be taking the extra time to drive farther and go to a different pet store.

They’re gentle, loving, and incredibly experienced. I want to give a special shout-out to Brie. I had thrown my back out and was in a lot of pain, and she kindly offered to walk our dog back to my Jeep and even helped get him inside. That extra act of kindness truly touched me and is a big part of why we continue to come back. We are so thankful! Thank you, Brie—you are AMAZING!
