I really like the fact that they have a large indoor facility for the dogs to be able to play without concerns for the weather.
- CTCory Thacker-SmytheNov 21, 20181.0Unbelievably unprofessional and rude. We dropped our dog off for boarding this morning. At intake, the receptionist seemed to be paying little attention as information such as food, medication, crate time, etc. was being imparted. Feeling uneasy, I called back after drop off to confirm they had noted all of her information. As I discovered that they had incomplete information, I was told that it was our fault for not giving complete instructions. We had, of course, but after much back and forth, I asked, for the sake of argument, if we hadn’t provided her schedule information, why hadn’t they asked? The increasingly rude staff member informed me that they have so many puppies that they can’t ask for that kind of info from everyone, which was even less reassuring to me. Without notice, she then handed the phone to the manager and I could hear her bad-mouthing me in the background. The manager apologized and claimed he told her to “not have an attitude”. Feeling anxious and disgusted by the lack of service and competency, we immediately went and picked up our dog, which was hugely inconvenient as we were leaving town for the holiday. I was really surprised by our experience, as Central Barks has overall good reviews. After today, I would never consider leaving my dog at this place.
