They greeted me as soon as we walked in asked me if I had an appointment I said yes, but I really didn’t need peanut butter to be seen. I really just need it prescription refills and even after I told him that they were still willing to get peanut butter check up they were quick efficient. I got her Refill and I got my daughter’s dog refilled. they’re nice efficient. They checked everything out told me when her next shots were due and I was done within 20 minutes. Nice job.

The vet, vet tech, and intake person were friendly, kind, and competent. Wait time was appropriate. Some problems with communication on availability of heartworm medication which made the visit much longer than necessary.

This is my 3rd time using VETCO for my dogs. The first time was very good. 2nd time was good. This 3rd time was very poor. The techs & vet were in a rush & inexperienced. They didn’t bother checking her temperature, ears, mouth/teeth, or muscoloskeletal body. They went straight to vaccines. And wouldn’t let me help them hold her (policy). They said they knew what they were doing and proceeded to puncture her chest with techs nails or jewelry as tech tried holding her, then the vet pocked/punctured her with needle where needle broke & had to use another one. I ended up holding her & then no issues with injections or drawing blood. A lot of the oral bordatella given didn’t go in her mouth. My second dog. They didn’t bother checking his temperature. When they tried drawing blood they couldn’t get enough blood so they had to use another needle to draw more blood, again couldn’t get enough blood. They said they would combine both to do the Canie 4DX Snap test. Supposedly it came back negative but who knows if that is true. Before all this at check-in I asked the tech to please give me prescription for Simparica Trio because I can get it for a lower price at COSTCO. She said sure no problem. After paying over $310 (No rabbies vaccines) for this horrible experience. I went back to tech and asked her about prescription. She said they would email it to me. One week later no prescription in email. I called PETCO, then VETCO. Customer rep and VETCO said I have to go there (VETCO clinic) to talk to them. Same day Thursday, I called PETCO and they said they will be there a little bit after 10am. I go to PETCO, and cashier tells me they might be running late. I wait for 20 minutes and I check with them again (manager), they said VETCO is at another location and to come back Saturday. We’ll see how it goes Saturday if I can make it smh. I don't recommend this place to anyone anymore. If you truly love your pets, I recommend paying a bit more at a professional veterinarian. Time and peace of mind are more valuable than money. Their prices keep going up every year and service gets worse. Not worth the value anymore!
