  I’ve bought a lot of plants from this Petco, and the number that have died is just unbelievable. Every time I’ve given this store a chance, even when I try to pick the healthiest plants, most of them end up half-dead or fully dead. It’s extremely frustrating and feels like a waste of money. It’s not just the plants dying. it’s clear that Petco doesn’t prioritize the quality of their aquarium plants. Many of the plants come with insects or snail eggs, so you need to carefully clean everything to avoid infestations in your tank. Honestly, I’ve had more plants die than survive from this store. And because it’s the closest Petco to my house, it’s disappointing that I have no better options nearby. Some of the dead or dying plants have even affected the health of my other plants, which adds to the frustration. I won’t be shopping here for aquarium plants again. Between the constant plant deaths, wasted money, and potential infestations, this has been a very disappointing experience.

  I truly have never been more disappointed with a Petco ever. The fish tanks were in horrible condition, multiple goldfish were in a tank that was way to small, it was so bad that it got to the point where dead fish were piled up onto each other and other goldfish were eating at them. I am honestly disgusted at the lack of care that these animals have been receiving. This is no way to keep fish what so ever, especially ones you are trying to sell. Gross.

  The Petco in Burke does not sell fish. I visited twice (once during the week and again on a weekend) and there was nobody working in the section of the store where the fish are located. Both times I visited I waited to see if anyone would show up. No luck. I asked an employee if there was anyone available to assist with purchasing fish. They directed me to check with the people working at the front register. I received the same response each time I visited, "Sorry, there isn't anyone available". After my second visit I decided it would be best to call before driving there again. Someone picked up the call then immediately hung up. Odd, maybe a reception issue 🤔 I called back but no answer. I've never experienced this at the other locations. If you're looking to purchase fish... save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.
