  I came into the store specifically looking for allergy-friendly dog food and was immediately impressed with the service. Instead of wandering around stressing for 20 minutes, a super kind and sweet employee named Angel came to my rescue! He asked about my dog's allergies and was incredibly knowledgeable about the best food options. Angel's expertise and helpfulness made the whole experience a breeze. I hope the best for this kid in the future!!!

  New review Jan 30 2026 with 5 stars: Thank you Charlene and Paul at Falls Church Petco! I spoke with Charlene on the phone who recommended I come in again to work it out. As she had recommended the first time I went in, I had called the Petco rewards 800 phone number. Those people were not helpful and couldn't even pull up my receipt. I went in and worked with Paul, the manager, who was excellent as well. We looked at my receipt from last week and I showed him the broken toy. He had some personal recommendations for toys so I bought those (and more) and he did a price adjustment. My dogs are very happy with the new toys! He also said to make note of the manufacturer info and phone number and contact them if a toy breaks as they will sometimes replace it for free. TL DR: use Vital Care rewards ONLY for things like food that won't break as you can only redeem the points ONE TIME. (Ring up other things separately). original review from Jan 27 2026 with 1 star: I bought a dog toy that broke in first hour. I tried to exchange for a different toy but they wouldn’t let me apply the points I had used. On a $25 toy they would only give $5 of my credit to the replacement toy.

  I have been a Petco customer for 3 years already I have taken my dogs for vaccination, and purchased everything for them here, everything is been great. But I just got a cat and the personal from the vetco clinic have me disappointed, it been 3 appointments and they don’t want to give my cat her vaccines. Doe to a veterinarian named Dr. Astrid Kimmel she didn’t wanted to touch my cat not even try to get her out of the box. She said she had a surgery the next day and she didn’t wanted to deal with a cat in that moment. So obviously in her defense on my cat profile she described her as an anxious cat. Now that we tried they said no because of her profile description they even give me a paper with a bunch of other places to go because Petco don’t want to treat my cat.
