- MMMarcus MedinaDec 30, 20251.0I did not want to leave this review, but after several attempts to contact the regional manager without a response, I feel I have no choice. Over the summer, I day-boarded my 11-year-old hound at the Rosslyn location. I was later told that he had been separated from the other dogs because he repeatedly mounted another dog. At some point, he was placed in a crate. Either the crate was not properly secured or he managed to get out, because he was subsequently able to reach the same dog again and was bitten. I was initially told over the phone that the bite was minor and that there was no need to rush to pick him up. However, when I arrived, it was immediately clear that the injury was much more serious than described. I took him directly to the emergency vet, where he required treatment. Photos from his ER visit are included below. I understand that incidents can happen in group dog-care settings. However, the handling of this situation — including the apparent failure to properly secure my dog and the lack of transparency about the severity of the injury — was extremely disappointing. At a minimum, I expected acknowledgment of my concerns and communication from management, which has not occurred despite multiple attempts. Overall, this experience was very disappointing.

They keep the dogs safe and always openly communicate anything about my dog’s health status, behavior, and account information. They also open at 6:30am which saves me on early work days! Their prices are very good and have different payment options. I definitely recommend Playful Pack! The Rosslyn location is filled with great dogs and awesome staff members!

They have sent her home with photo prints of shots taken over the course of the day, and you can get more every day your pet is here over email. My dog is happy to go to day care, and I know that she is well taken care of when she is here. I will recommend playful pack to any and all dog owners in the area!
