  We moved to the area last year and we were excited to see a highly rated cat clinic a few minutes away. I prefer a cat clinic because they specialize in treating felines and I don’t have to worry about walking into a stressful environment with large dogs barking and echoing throughout the waiting area. I take my kitty for monthly shots for his arthritis and the staff is always caring, friendly, and attentive. They’re also very reasonably priced and I don’t have anxiety that they’ll try to upsell me on unneeded services. Sometimes, I have to search a bit for a parking spot —but that’s the trade off being located near so many other popular businesses. I wish that they had a few reserved spots, close to their door, but not every property manager will allow for that.

  I brought my 14yo cat to Kingstowne Cat Clinic in June 2025 for the Radioactive I-131 treatment that my regular vet had recommended for her hyperthyroidism. I chose this location because the one my vet had referred me to didn't have any openings for over a month, which would have required new bloodwork be done. I was so grateful that Kingstowne was not only close enough with immediate appointments available, but the staff member who helped me on the phone and at the clinic (Jacqueline) was wonderful from the first moment to the last. I was sent thorough preparation instructions by email while on the initial phone call, and Jacqueline also explained everything verbally. She answered every one of my questions (and I had a lot), and most of all, she calmed my nerves. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of clinic as well. Not only was it sparkly clean, modern, and nicely decorated, it also has a resident cat in the lobby (and who doesn't love meeting more cats?). When I first met the vet, I was also very impressed. Dr. Mosoriak was so kind and gentle to my kitty, who came in traumatized by the 25-minute ride. She explained a great many things, thoroughly reviewed the tests sent over by my other vet, and confirmed Mittens' eligibility for the treatment, which was then set up officially (though her spot had been reserved in advance tentatively). Although the treatment is expensive, the price they charge is comparable to the other location. The treatment went very well for Mittens. Each day she was there, they sent me text updates with photos, which was so comforting. Then, after Mittens came home, they emailed me several times to check how she was doing and remind me to get her follow-up bloodwork. Even though the tests were done at my regular vet (a 5-minute ride vs. a 25-minute ride), Kingstowne still emailed me to say they'd received the results and confirmed that she was recovering well. I might add that the treatment also worked! Mittens had dwindled down to 7 lbs. when I realized she was sick. She'd always been a hefty 10 lbs., and within 4 months after the treatment, she'd put back on all that lost weight—and a little extra for good measure! She has also stopped throwing up, shedding like a maniac, and howling like there's no tomorrow! If only I had realized what was going on sooner... ...and if only I lived 20 minutes closer to Kingstowne, I'd be switching clinics in a heartbeat!

  We have been taking our cats here for at least 3 years. Friendly and helpful staff. Rates for a visit seem to run a little higher than most.

  Update: I chose them to handle my cat's I-131 Treatment and it went smoothly. My cat's 30 day post care shows normal thyroid levels. My cat's fur is sleek and she is doing great! I met a lady at the clinic who traveled from Philly to come to this clinic. We are so lucky to have this clinic here. Our first visit and very impressed. Caring and gave us great next steps for my cat care. I think we found our cat vet!
