- IJIris JacksonOct 31, 20251.0I had heard good things about Banfield Pet Hospitals and so I scheduled and appointment for my fur baby. On the day of my appointment everything thing goes wrong traffic accidents, detours, back ups, you name it. I guess that's what you get on Halloween! Anyway, we traveled across the Woodrow Wilson bridge and get 3 minutes from the location and I received a call from Jacob to see if we were still coming and how far we were. I explained the situation (traffic, detours, the bridge) he says he would speak to the the doctor and come back. He returns and says unfortunately, you will have to reschedule. I said, "We are less than 3 minutes away." He said yes. You can speak to the receptionist to reschedule . I said, No. I'll do it when I arrive. Needless to say I will not be rescheduling with this location. Quite frankly after this experience I'm not sure I would schedule with another location either. To know that you treat your customers in this manner. Things happen that are out of our control. This was my first time ever to any of the locations, I wasn't familiar with the area and after dealing with the traffic I was really focused on getting to my destination but it didn't matter because at this location ALL the providers, staff and customers need to ALWAYS be ON TIME and can't have things come up. Truly unfortunate and sad .

Banfield located on Old Beulah Rd has the best team of vets and assistants that provides the best care for my dog. They are professional, patient and provide him with the best care at great rates.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
