I’ve had my dog insured with Benefits for about 3years, and when I finally decided to cancel, they told me I would have to pay over $600 just to CANCLE the subscription. I felt blindsided and taken advantage of. What hurts me the most, though, is how my dog seemed after some of our visits. Every time we left, he looked shaken and anxious in a way I had never seen before. It made me wonder what was happening behind those closed doors. No pet owner should ever have to feel that kind of fear or doubt about their pet’s care. On top of that, many of the employees often seemed unhappy or irritated, which only made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. When you’re trusting someone with your pet you want to feel safe, respected, and reassured. Unfortunately, I never felt that here. I'm so glad I'm transferred my dog , its a HUGE different how my dog gets when she's reedy for pick up. and how much of a different the people are as well .

Their benefit plans also barely save you money and it’s $85 whenever you go in no matter what despite having a “benefit plan.” Just tried to follow up on my dogs cytology and called 5 times in a row, once they picked up and immediately hung up, once they put me on hold for 25 minutes, and the other 3 times they just didn’t pick up. Super unprofessional.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
