    Very disappointed to see 3 nearly fully grown bearded dragons in a TINY cage, they do not look healthy. Cage says “50% off because we are getting too big for this tank” well you guys can’t surrender a different tank for them? If you claim you’re all about pets and care about them, DO BETTER. This is abuse. I’m also seeing 3 or more full grown SYRIAN hamsters together in a tiny space, when they can get big they get extremely territorial. Take better care of your animals, anybody in the right mind wouldn’t support this.

    They have improved since we first came here two years ago and we have had mostly positive experiences at the Petco in Taylorsville. The staff here is friendly, relatively patient, and caring toward both pets and customers. Whenever I’ve needed help or had questions, the employees have been great once available, and it’s clear they take pride in the animals and products they handle. The store is also generally clean and easy to navigate.

    Staff don’t care about the live animals they sale. They have a salt water fish section which most of those fish are all wild caught. However there’s clear signs of neglect (coral beauty angel dying with parasites, blue tang stuck to the drain) when asked if they’ll sell them at a lower cost (since likelihood of recovery is low) they said no. Basically rather not do anything than let someone who cares give them a chance at survival. Staff did not bother to go check up on what was alerted to them either. They stayed hanging out by the register.

    I asked the lady at the register fir help in Acquatics ,and she said no ones there? I said no waited 10 minutes still no help went to.Pet smart
