I was fully prepared with my ID and told the employees I already had a cage set up at home. Because I didn’t have pictures of the cage on my phone, they refused to sell me the hamster. When I politely asked to see the actual policy, they refused. When I asked to speak to a manager, they declined again and then walked away from me mid-conversation. I tried to calmly reason with them, but they kept ignoring me and repeatedly claimed they were the managers—yet no real manager ever came out. The employees’ names were Clyde and Jordan, and their behavior was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful. If there truly is a policy requiring photos, it should be clearly posted and explained—not used as an excuse to treat customers poorly. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend it to anyone. Thanks for ruining a child’s birthday!
