Wanted In Room vaccines for my puppy. My pup was removed taken to another room, under a caregiver & Weight was recorded as less than a pound! For a 5 month old pup. Waited for over an hour. Mistakenly Revaccinated for a 3rd time for worms, when it was just supposed to be for Rabies!
My other dog (7 years old) is now needing to be drugged to have her nails clipped after having been clipped & injured by a tech there.
Do Not Go Here!!!!

If zero stars were an option, I would choose that without hesitation.
For the safety and well-being of your pets, I strongly advise you to avoid this location.
Our negative experience began when we brought our young female dog in for what was supposed to be a routine annual visit, including a dental cleaning under anesthesia. To our shock, we were informed at discharge that four or more of her teeth had been extracted—without our prior knowledge or consent. Per standard protocol, we should have received a phone call requesting approval for such a procedure, but no such call was made. The first time we were made aware of the extractions was during post-operative care instructions. At no point did we provide consent for tooth removal, nor would we have agreed to it had we been consulted.
The second serious concern occurred when we brought our male dog in for a second opinion regarding a persistent, painful, and costly medical issue. Unfortunately, Banfield failed to provide any meaningful guidance, insight, or recommendations to help manage his condition or relieve his discomfort. Fortunately, we were able to consult with a more competent veterinary provider who has since taken over his care. We only sought Banfield’s input as an additional perspective, but the lack of support was disheartening.
Our final and most disappointing experience came during a subsequent annual checkup for both of our dogs. We were charged for services that were never performed, including nail trimming and anal gland expression. I contacted the location to report the issue and spoke with the manager, who assured me she would investigate the matter and follow up. I never received a return call.
It is clear to us that Banfield has expanded far too quickly, resulting in a significant decline in quality of care at most locations and customer service. Their inability to manage patient needs and maintain transparency has had real consequences for our pets and our trust as clients.
For these reasons, I cannot recommend Banfield, particularly this location, to any pet owner seeking reliable, compassionate veterinary care.

Posting this late but earlier this year we had the WORST experience with this location. We took our dog in for a routine check up. Drop off was at like 9 am. It got to be about 330 and we never heard from the vet regarding pickup. My wife called them to ask about our dog. The lady that answered seemed clueless about our dog. These idiots completely forgot about our dog and left her in a waiting room all freaking day long. I will never go this location again.

Dr Orr is the best! We have backyard Ducks, and when they have gotten injured, I can reach out to him-w pictures/videos and explain what’s going on. If we feel he needs to physically look at the duck, he will happily do a house call. He has helped save many ducks. Thank you, Sandra .

Had a great experience at the West Jordan Banfield. The vet and technician were very friendly and informative. They really took the time to understand my pets health history and the best course of action for him. I felt very valued and that my pet was cared for. Highly recommend.

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
