It’s hard to find good employees who actually know their customers and who know details about their job which benefits the customers. I know people who came to this Clinton store just because Steve was so helpful.

We’ve came here for the amazing fish selection and I’ve spent a ton of money just because of that and sadly enough today will be our last day. We love the other people there however, Steve is the one that kept the place running! Good luck, Petco being a corporation and not caring about people we won’t be spending our money here anymore I advise others to do the same

We arrived at our favorite Petco today with the horrible news that Petco leadership made a ridiculous decision and fired one of the best fish and reptile keepers in Utah! Thank you Steve for the 7+ years of doing such an incredible job at this location! We have been coming here for all those years (from nearly 50 miles away) just to see the incredible fish selection Steve always produces! We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this location thanks to him! So sad! Why does corporate America have to ruin Such great things!? Horrible day for the Utah Fish world!

I have been to both Riverdale and Clinton and was really unhappy for years, started getting my dog food and anything else from chewy, then one day I needed something quickly and went to Clinton also wanted to check out the fish, and that is when we met Steve, I haven’t gone anywhere else since. You fired the best employee I have ever met at Petco..:bad move! He has so much knowledge, someone who actually knows about fish and reptiles, and very friendly, I always know when he hasn’t been in the store for a couple of days, because the tanks look awful! He keeps that store running and when I see employees standing around, he is always moving! I have never never seen an employee at any store promote the store like Steve does, he puts things out about your store, promos and new creatures, on social media groups all the time, as I said that is unheard of for an hourly paid employee of a store to do that. I seen many, many reviews of how much people love Steve at Clinton Petco. You have gotten rid of a great employee and I guess I go back to Chewy and will find other places to buy my fish now. Bad move Petco
- BLBetty LeeAnnDec 26, 20251.0Went in to use the self wash for my two dogs and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The wash room was filthy and disgusting, the floor was soaked with water, there was hair in every single tub, the room was filled with empty bottles and dirty brushes, there were no clean brushes or towels and when we had to locate an employ we were given two flimsy towels and a dirty brush, no ear cleaner, no sprays, the soap in the automatic hose thing wouldn’t work, the dryer didn’t work, I washed ONE of my two dogs and he didn’t even get clean because the wash system they have wasn’t working and the other tubs were so dirty it was the only one I could use then the blow dryer didn’t work, my dog left wet and cold and the other still dirty. I asked for a refund and was only given a refund for the dog I didn’t wash, despite telling the employ that I was going to have to find someone else to take BOTH dogs and re-wash the one, the manager didn’t even make an appearance.
