    Called in because my dog just devoured a beef rib bone that was only supposed to be a chew. The lady was helpful with advice on what to look for and where to go if it becomes an emergency (hopefully we don't need the pet ER). In the past they have helped with my other pets and I appreciate their care and consideration.

    This is the third time this employee has been rude and arrogant. Our pug had surgery, and unfortunately, our other dog got into her medication. Thus, I went back to this Banfield to pick up the replacement meds. I knew the correct number of replacement pills I needed- and this had been confirmed the day before when I originally called. The total prescribed was 20, and by this point, 4 would have been used. This front desk employee- he would not give me his name, and he did wear a name tag (A pattern for him in the past as well), he is short with brown hair and glasses, for reference- said he would only replace 12 of the 16 needed pain pills for my pug. I did the math with him several times, and he continued to say the correct amount was 12. I recalculated the amount remaining- taking into account whether she missed the night before, in the 'used' total. This employee was insistent that the math was 12. (He was shorting her 2 days' worth of pain medication.) The math was 20-4=16, Elementary mathematics. He began to sneer and repeat the number '12'. He gave no reason for his behavior except to try to stand taller and give off an arrogant air. (We have interacted with this employee several times in the past with similar results.) I told him that if he was only going to replace 12, that was one thing, but that the actual prescribed remaining amount was 16... 20 minus 4 is 16. He finally said he would do the 16 'if you want'. But the 'amount owed is 12.' I got the 16 pills and left. I did file a formal complaint with Banfield. This employee needs reprimanding and even job loss. It's unfortunate he is tainting the Banfield name.

    Most incompetent staff I’ve ever experienced. I was quoted for a time sensitive service over the phone. When I showed up for said service; the bill was almost $400 over the quoted price. When I said something, they told me it was my fault for believing the quote since only the veterinarians are responsible for accurate quotes (how was I supposed to know this????) I didn’t see an actual vet when I dropped my cat off, nor when I picked him up 7 and a 1/2 hours later. In fact, they didn’t even call me to let me know I could pick him up. I had to call THEM after a suspiciously long amount of time had passed. When I showed up to get him, the incompetency continued and I waited an additional half hour after paying for them to even bring my cat out to me. I would have never brought my cat to this animal hospital to begin with had the quoted price not been so low. For the love of god, DO NOT bring your pets here. I’ve never experienced more incompetence than I did at this animal hospital.

    I usually never take the time to write a bad review, but !'m very passionate about my pet. I love him and want to make sure I pay for the best possible care. Banfield was a nightmare to work with. They have credentials to help export pets. internationally but made huge mistakes on my case. They drew blood for a test and never sent it out to the lab. Their mistakes ended up costing me hundreds of dollars they were completely apathetic to my experience. I tried calling three times and I sent them an email. They never called me back and they never responded to the email. I would not recommend them as a veterinarian team.
