  I took my dog Carly to Dr. Kay’s Vet Clinic last week for her checkup, and I couldn’t have been happier with our visit. Dr. Kay was absolutely wonderful with her. He was kind, patient, thorough, and took the time to make sure Carly was comfortable while he examined her. The staff was just as impressive. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about Carly and why we were there. We never felt rushed or like we were just another appointment on the schedule. It’s reassuring to have a veterinary clinic close to home where you feel confident that your pet is in good hands. I really appreciate Dr. Kay and the entire staff for taking such good care of Carly.

  Pet: cat I have been to this vet twice in the last two weeks. The vet techs and Dr. Kay are very friendly, patient, and open to communicating. They do not rush through your pet's exam. If they have an emergent patient that could require them to momentarily step out of your exam room, they will warn you when they enter your exam room. If you have questions about the difference between the feline-specific rabies vaccine versus the traditional rabies vaccine for your cat, they will explain the benefits and why some people may choose one vaccine over the other. They will explain why some cats, like feral cats and indoor-outdoor cats, should probably receive the feline leukemia vaccine. Basically, if you have any question, they are willing to answer it. If they don't know a specific answer, they will be honest and tell you and then figure it out. Dr. Kay was very kind and did not shame my cat about her weight, and he told me what her ideal weight should be and the kcal and cup amount to achieve that weight. Fun fact: He enjoys "cat math," which is figuring out cat nutrition numbers. They scheduled my first appointment within the same week that I called about feline balance issues. They seem to be reasonable about when they can see a patient. My cat had a two-week followup. Prices: The charge to hold a new-patient appointment, which was later subtracted from the final bill amount: $69 upfront. Traditional rabies vaccine, which cats can have: ~$30 Feline-specific rabies vaccine: $60 Ear cytology: $20 Ear cleaning: $20 Biohazard fee: $10 Animax ointment 15mL: $39.68 Depo-Medrol 20 mg/mL: $21.19 Convenia Inj.: $68.32 Comprehensive Panel 2: $289.04

  Dr.Kay has treated both of our cats. We were able to get same-day appointments which is wonderful. His staff is very friendly and caring. We would highly recommend Dr Kay

  Would not recommend this veterinary clinic, you fork alot of money and still no answer while your dog is suffering..Then they offer to see her again to do the same test, which didnt get answer from the first run of test, just to charge you again between 200 - 500 dollars.
