  I brought my 18-month-old black lab in for a nail trim. This was his third visit to Petco. I was assisted by Awstyn when registering. Awstyn took Gunner back for his appointment and I went to the desk to pay for the service. I returned less than five minutes later and my dog was secured to a table with only two clips on his collar, otherwise freestanding without any body restraint. Awstyn had a foot and leg on the table and was bending his paw backwards trying to use the grinder on his left front paw. Gunner became agitated and tried to pull away. At this point the table tipped over and Gunner was left hanging by his collar on the table. The lack of concern or urgency shown my pet was sufficiently concerning that I pushed open the door to help Gunner to his feet and reassure him. Awstyn’s reaction was not concern but to inform me that I wasn’t “really supposed to be back here,” while completely ignoring my pet’s situation and instead concentrating on setting the table upright. I sternly replied that I was trying to make sure my dog didn’t hang himself. I then left the room. As I was walking to the desk to ask for a manager, Savannah came out with the dog and said she had finished his nails, profusely apologizing for what happened. I declined a refund but asked that Awstyn not receive the tip I had provided when I paid. Savannah was the groomer that worked with him previously, arranged our vet appointment, and explained all services. I am grateful for her help that day. I hope this unfortunate incident doesn’t affect my ability to continue to bring Gunner to Petco. I am very concerned that he will now be afraid of the entire facility.

  Chey is so loving to our dogs and lets me know what she would suggest for their best health. I am really happy with this service and with all of the groomers at Petco Waukesha.

  My dog doesn't generally need to be cut, maybe every 3 or 4th bath will I have him trimmed. This last time he just needed a bath and brushed out, when I went to pick him up after 3 hours he was still wet. I even said to the groomer he's still very wet and she just brushed me off. Once I got home it took me over 30 min just to blow dry him. If I wanted the mess of blow drying and brushing my dog out, I wouldn't have bothered bring him in to be groomed. Disappointed

  Chey was awesome! Super nice and lived my dog. Did a spectacular job with Roger!

  Very choppy and they cut her tail completely off. It does not look professional. She is supposed to have a long tail like a papillon. It's going to take forever to grow back.
