  Crappy experience. Staff talked to me like I was stupid when I attempted to express my expertise in reptiles and ask some questions. In the picture I took (7/22/25) you can see a ball python exhibiting severe stuck shed. That is a result of extremely low humidity, meaning these poor ball pythons have been neglected for a while. You can see the substrate is aspen shavings, which is not good for ball pythons because it rots easily in the high humidity they need, which could even give these poor snakes scale rot for their future owners to deal with. Also, as you can see there are two snakes in the same tiny enclosure. This can be highly stressful for the ball pythons, as they are highly solitary creatures. Corporate needs to step in, retrain this staff immediately, and fix these enclosures before these animals suffer permanent health damage. Please consider avoiding this location if you care about animal welfare.

  I usually never write reviews, but I feel it’s necessary for this instance. I had a grooming appointment for my new puppy, but as soon as we got there I noticed one of the male groomers rough handling the dog and visibly getting upset with the dog. The dog was yelping, seeming to be upset in pain while getting their nails trimmed. I’m extremely grateful I saw that and was able to turn around. Please think twice before sending your pup here.

  Horrible customer service by Carrie. Never been denied to replace a fish before and was completely yelled at from across the store saying how disrespectful we were being when we mentioned that before a different lady earlier in the day shook the fish as it was stuck on the outside of the container and was going to die. This lady later went in the radio saying we wouldn’t be served for the rest of the night. Even though a different lady shook the fish wasn’t the problem the way we were treated was unprofessional and we will never be going to that Petco ever again
