  ⭐️ 1 Star I had a very disappointing experience at the Petco in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. I purchased shrimp from the store and, when I got home, realized that two were already dead. I returned to the store to return the two dead shrimp, and as soon as I walked in and explained what happened, the manager immediately responded, “Was that what really happened, or is that something you made up?” I was honestly shocked to be accused of lying when I was simply trying to return something I had purchased. I understand that stores have return policies and may need to ask questions, but there was absolutely no reason to speak to me that way. The situation could have been handled calmly and respectfully, but instead I left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. I hope Petco addresses how customers are treated at this location because this was extremely unprofessional and not the kind of customer service I expected.

  They are very rude and unprofessional at this store. I've been going here for over 20 years and have never had a problem but yesterday I couldn't exchange a dead fish without a paper receipt. It clearly says online you can use the app but the people here wouldn't except that.

  Clerk did not acknowledge me at check out, ignored me for 10 minutes while my items sat on counter, as he attempted to change the name and address for a Petco account for a fellow employee that was attempting to use her sister's account. Stood there listening to her whine and bicker with him as they both acted like I was not there and of no consequence. As her tone continued to get worse, I finally uttered "Oh my God" under my breath at which point she angrily told him "Just help HER". He then made a smart remark to me in front of customer that walked up behind me to embarrass me. Customer service is ATROCIOUS. I will never shop this location again.

  Even if you purchase a pet from them if it Dies and you didn’t keep your receipt even within the thirty days they will not honor their own policy even though they have the capability to reprint the receipt if you do not physically have it they will not work with you….hence why I will not purchase another bird through them or any other animal for that matter

  I recently had to change my cats diet from Merrick Limited Ingredient (which they're not making any more) to something else. I bought several cans of Fussie Cat elsewhere to see if my cats could eat it. They loved Fussie Cat! I visited PetCo the next time I was in Lake Geneva, hoping they carried this brand, and they did. PetCo has a new customer for Fussie Cat, especially since they have the 5.5 ounce cans.
