Staff very friendly, knowledgeable, answered all my questions. Took time with me and my puppy and made sure we were comfortable and pleased. Have had pets for 30 years and this is the best care I have received. THANKS YOU!

The staff members were friendly, and the pricing was fair. However, I do not appreciate the way they handled my dog. In the past, when I had taken my dog to the vet, they would ask me to pick him up, set him on the table, and keep him calm. This works perfectly fine, and he has never had any issues. When I brought my dog to the Vetco staff, the vet walked up to him and picked him up immediately. This caused my dog to freak out and attempt to bite. He has never been violent whatsoever, so I was shocked to see the behavior. I apologized repeatedly, and the vet informed me that it was the third time it had happened that day, and that my dog's breed does not like to be restrained. This made me realize that no one has ever just walked up to my dog and grabbed him that way, so it is no surprise that he was scared (I do not think any dog would be okay with that). If they had allowed me to pick up my dog, there would have been no issues. My dog now has a muzzle warning on his record because of this, even though it could have been very easily avoided.

It's the same price to go to my regular vet, as it is to come to vetco, only I get a full exam by my vet. It used to be a deal with the puppy packages, but now it is just as expensive. No reason to come anymore.

Much easier right now with covid! You make an appt, go online full in pet details. The day of your appt they txt or call when it's your time slot or shortly before and let you know it's ok to go in. There were only 2 dogs in front of me but one was early so mine went first. So much smoother this way then the lines that they use to have!! I hope they actually keep this in place. So much less stress one dogs when there isn't a store full of them.
