  I was told something was included in a package. The “manager” was incredibly rude. Insinuated that because her techs are only a week old they don’t need to know pricing. Will never shop at Petco ever again! There are other pet stores.

  This place right here is a Joke, the General Manager who name is (a solid material whose atoms, molecules, or ions are arranged in an ordered, repeating, three-dimensional pattern) was very rude and told me my dog could not be seen because I simply asked a hypothetical question. Anyway, if you're paying twenty bucks a month for low-quality care for your pets, you simply don't love them enough. I am done with Petco; taking my business elsewhere.

  This place was a joke. I had an appointment at 11:30 and while I understand you may not be able to be seen right away, I was sitting there for over an hour waiting to be seen for my 11:30 appointment. I asked the employee what the estimated wait time was at that point and she said she didn’t know. I hope other people have had better luck than me.

  Vetco is good for basic immunizations. Otherwise, if you any medical concerns, take them to a veterinary clinic. I brought my dog Sky with skin issues on a Friday. They recommended I get a fungal culture to check for ringworm, bacteria or yeast. They told me they would call with results the following Tuesday or Wednesday. I paid $169 for the test and $95 for a shot that didn't make a big difference. Plus the additional wipes and materials. So almost $300. No one called. I called to check in and they said the results were still in progress. I got a call a week later saying everything was negative but that they would recheck and call to see if anything showed for a bacterial infection. Again no calls. She was taken to an actual vet and they diagnosed her with a bacterial infection. Disappointed with vetco, wish I could get a refund on the culture and will only take my pets to a real veterinary clinic going forward.

  I was really looking forward to this visit. Since my dog had already been going for shots and check ups, it would be nice to have all her records in one place. The prices here are really not much less than a regular vet clinic. BUT, it is a definite "MONEY GRAB". My dog had an ear infection and a slight limp on her rear leg. So, they cleaned her ears ($42) but said that they would have to test the ear wax to determine medication ($52) and then the medication was almost $70. I just went for the ear cleaning. If they already knew the medication, why did they need to do more tests. It's most likely yeast as she's had it before. I will treat her ears at home. Then her back leg has inflamation that is causing her not to put full weight on it. So, there is a medication for that too ($64 for 2 weeks) BUT you have to get blood work done BEFORE he will prescribe the medication...another $60/70. He gave me a 2 week supply to help ease , after that out of luck. I also needed my dog's NexGard prescription refilled. Another blood test for that, $60. They did not have it on hand so I asked the Dr to write me a script so I could order online. The vet tech told me that, yes, he would write me a prescription.n I get home, I have my receipt and summary of care but NO PRESCRIPTION. I called them to inquire and they told me I could order the prescription online at Petco but I asked for the written script so I could get it elsewhere. Now they tell me that they can't mail it to me, can't send it to me on a secure link, won't even confirm with the pharmacy that I choose that my dog has a prescription for it. So, because they couldn't do their job and send me home with the script. My only choice is to drive there to pick it up in person. That's 45 minutes each way. That was the last HUGE disappointment for me. Besides adding on all kinds of expensive tests and medications I would need to have done in order for my dog to be treated, it's just as expensive, if not more, than a regular vet's office. Again, a definite money grab! They did not even have pictures or dog treats in the room. I will not be returning and I would not recommend.
