  So I'm new to the area, just moved here at the beginning of June. Dogs have been cooped up in the apartment since I moved in and they needed food. I had pretty good business with them where I had previously been from but figured why not give this one a shot. And holy smokes was it a good experience. First got to meet Gaby (Gabby? I think the name tag had 1 B but not sure. Please forgive me~) Super nice! Most times I'm hesitant about the entire signing up for rewards plans things but I didn't feel super pressured about it. It was simple too. In and out. No huge wait times on checking out or anything either. Then I got to meet Alex. Awesome individual. Between trying to wrangle my dogs my brain just wasn't working at the name tag laser engraving kiosk and she helped step in, made sure that everything was working right, and got to have a really nice conversation with her while the tags were going. Got to meet another employee JC while we waited and the puppers got a few dog treats during our wait which was amazing. I don't think my dogs had felt more spoiled for attention in their lives. Everyone I met there was just... Immensely friendly. If I needed something they showed me where it was instead of just saying "Yeah it's over there" which is so refreshing to see. Overall five stars. Will definitely come back. Found out too that they have a Vetco thing going on, which sounded cool. Get some basic shots and whatnot if I need them.

  I cannot stress enough, stay away from this store, drive the extra distance and go to Waukesha. Alex, the store manager, should not be in a customer service role. She is very unpleasant to deal with. I took my family to buy a guinea pig & supplies and it ended up being the worst experience for my kids and my four yr old left saying “wow she was just so mean”. I grew up with guinea pigs, I know how to care for them & the space they need. However, just to start out, we were purchasing a guinea pig starter cage, that Petco sells. Alex was refusing to sell us a guinea pig because we were going to purchase the stores starter cage for it and did not have something full size for it from the start. She said she won’t sell a guinea pig to anyone who purchases that. After standing and arguing with us for 10 minutes, she agreed to sell us the pig but refused to give us the 30 day guarantee on it. She was very opinionated, very rude, & unprofessional. We spent a good chunk of money of the pig & supplies but she thought we were purchasing it to kill it because we weren’t getting what she wanted us to right off the bat, so she refused to give us the guarentee on the pig. If my 4 yr old leaves saying that lady was very mean, you know that’s not proper customer service. Very sad experience and she does not belong in customer service.

  I brought my dog to his appointment for his yearly shots and the bloodwork which is necessary proving he was negative for heart worms in order to purchase the prescription Simparica Trio. Written test results were never provided leaving me unable to purchase his medication anywhere besides Petco which is about $50 more than Chewy. The entire process felt rushed and hectic all the while, avoiding pee spots on there floor.

  Just got worms 2 or 3 days ago to feed my lotls. I fed them the day I got the worms finishing the container I got from a debit store. Just opened the worms I had in the fridge today and they were all dead and moldy. There's tape on it so adhd me couldn't check in store and I just put them in the fridge when we got home with the beta fish. Waste of almost 10 dollars

  The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! They answered all my questions and made sure I had everything my new pets would need. The store was clean and all the animals I saw appeared healthy and well taken care of. This Petco in Delafield, WI is awesome!!
