  I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Jill Kusba. Having a holistic approach to veterinarian care is very important to me. I was looking for someone to give my dog acupuncture and help my dog heal from a back injury in the most non invasive way possible. I could tell she was highly trained in orthopedics and dog anatomy as she did a very thorough job of evaluating him to get to the root of the problem. She moved each limb around to see if there were any limitations, pain or imbalances. After that she did some acupuncture and laser therapy on my dog. The staff was very friendly as they made my dog feel at home through the whole process. I also found out she went all the way to China to study Traditional Chinese Medicine. I found that highly impressive as I know if she put that much effort into learning then she really cares about giving animals the best treatment possible. She even explained to me some massage techniques to help my dog feel better and recover faster. She also helped me see how the harness I was using was probably not fitting the way it should and was likely causing my dog discomfort. She gave me suggestions on how to improve it so my dog could move better. I so much appreciated her giving me that advice so I could make sure my dog was getting what he needed to feel better. I also mentioned how my dog had some teeth pulled but didn’t know if that was relevant to his current problems. I was impressed that she did not shrug it off but explained how yes one thing can affect another and gave me suggestions on how to massage his face for any lingering facial pain that can happen as a result of dental surgery. We are just beginning our road to recover but even after just one acupuncture session and a couple days of TCM and massage I can tell me dog is already starting to feel a little better and is moving better and enjoying his walks more. I feel confident my dog is in good hands here and I look forward to getting him back to his best. Thank you Care Animal Clinic! :)

  This is our new vet. Our cat was sick, called our former vet on a Friday and they were unable to see our sick cat. I called Care Animal Clinic and despite not being a patient they were able to get us in that day and helped treat our cat. Our cat is doing Great now. We just had such a great experience at care animal clinic with Dr. Patchett. She was caring and thorough. We feel like she explained things very well. We will continue to get care for both our cats here in the future. Thank you to their great team.

  Wise and kind staff and vets take excellent care of both my pets. From delicate ear surgery (PiperCat) to gentle, thorough Senior exam and acupuncture all types of care are provided. Education for owners too, from enrichment tips to massage videos, I learn something at every visit!
