  Very disappointed! Our normal feeder place was closed today so we stopped at the PetCo off of Sprague and Sullivan. I needed superworms and dubia roaches. Went over to the reptile section and all of the containers were over stuffed with wood shavings and every thing was dead. The feeder worms dead.. dubia roaches dead. Several containers containing dead bugs 😞 fast worker to come over he looked at it and said that those haven't been looked at for about a month. Which was clear he told us to go check out the Crickets up front we did that and there were a bunch of dead ones at the bottom of the garbage bin. There was a foul smell coming from it. This really disappointed me and frustrated me more than anything I don't know what's going on with their stock but I did not feel comfortable feeding my bearded dragon any of those so I want others to be aware of it also. Very disappointed do better Petco. The display of it was just disgusting and sad.

  Didn't like how they ran their fish department, prices seems to have skyrocketed, and it was hard to get customer service

  I don’t leave reviews often, but the experience I just had waiting for my dog to get his rabies vaccine warranted taking the time to leave one. From the time we stepped in the door until we left was a master class in customer service. The gentleman at the cash register was kind, conversational, and helpful to everyone he encountered and the young lady stocking the fish area was helpful as we walked around as well. The vet care team was helpful, informative, and clearly loves animals. The check in process through the appointment was a breeze. They were also doing their best keeping people informed and moving as quickly, but not rushed, as possible since it seems like a bigger group of animals came in than expected and they got behind. Whoever the manager was on duty today was such a champ. A senior woman came in, fresh from the vet, with some very specific requirements…but had misplaced the paper with the vet notes, but of course she remembered EXACTLY what the vet had told her about her cat’s diet restrictions. He dealt with her for at least a half an hour, with things out of his control now being his problem. He did an incredible job navigating her questions and accusations while remaining completely respectful, coming from a place of trying to help, and giving suggestions on how to solve her problem. When someone afterwards made a comment about the situation, all he said was “everyone has bad days.” Such a breath of fresh air when providing even decent customer service isn’t always a priority. Everyone deserves a raise.

  Only downside is they make the poor cashier deal with lines of customers all by themselves instead of providing another cashier to help out. Every time I've gone here there was a decent wait in line. That's in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The cashiers are fantastic though! I do not blame them for the lines whatsoever.

  Awesome employees. Got my cat his vaccines today. They were cheap and helpful!
