Although we went to Columbia River veterinary under the worst circumstances, we left feeling much appreciation for the friendliness and professionalism, and very well run establishment that they are. It was an urgent care visit. They actually answered the phone unlike most of the other clinics in the area on a Saturday morning, and very concise advice on what to do. They quickly identified the health crisis our dog was in, and compassionately and efficiently walked us through the process that morning of the unavoidable end of his suffering. They also sent us a card later. Thank you CRVS!

We unfortunately had to visit a few times over the last few years. I was heartbroken the last emergency visit as my little Gemma didnt make it. They were the kindest most compassionate group that I have ever dealt with and not sure I would have made it through without them. I highly recommend going here for your emergency vet needs.

Time of crisis - Over the years, CRVS has meant more than emergency care for our family members (Pets) during many downturns in our nation's economy. Pets seem to be the ones hit the hardest. Dot Com bubble, house market collapse, and whatever you call this now. Our neighborhood is already seeing an increase in abandoned pets. I have taken on 10 rescue cats. None of which were ever asked if they wished to be brought into this world. No, they just were and then left abandoned. Some of those rescue cats were just weeks old and lived to be 23. Journey, I would do over gladly because they gave me more than I could have ever expected. Yes, I miss them dearly everyday. Each had a long life and loving life. Still, old age doesn't always tick to a convenient clock. Time of crisis does arise there are Angels in this world. CRVS handled the situation with grace, care, and love. I am forever grateful. Thank you for the wonderful care you have given my friends over the years. May we all meet our friends again on that rainbow bridge. Paws Forever (Tucker 23, Nemo 16, Monkey 20, and Doodles 18) The rest still purring -_0

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANIMALS. IT IS A SCAM. They lie, cheat, and steal, in an effort to run up your bill. Ours was almost $5k for a 39 hour stay for a urinary unblocking. They sedated our cat 4 seperate times in that time period, the second two for literally no reason. When we came to visit he was laying in his own shit, barf, and piss. It took weeks to clean him, once we regained him. When it came to pay the bill they called my partner, thinking she was a pushover, even tho I had just been given the bill and requested to talk before it was paid. I was in a private room waiting to talk to someone while they did this back door deal. I was then presented with a receipt and the female employee with brown hair (she didn't give her name nor was wearing a name tag) said: you can leave now. I had not yet been given back my pet. When I requested again to talk to the talk to the Dr about what had caused this blockage, how to prevent it in the future, ect, I was then told I'd need to wait about 2 hours, which I did. Dr. valentyne came in w the hospital manager, a 6'1" man with brown hair. She proceded to tell me nothing useful and then lied saying we had a verbally agreed to this quote. We exceeded the 48 hour high estimate in 39 hours. Dr. Sarah Wallace said the most expensive blocking, multi-day situation she'd ever seen was 6k. This makes it the most expensive 39 hour stay in hospital history. They gave us no plans for his future. I was told by the hospital manager that I'd be given a call or email back, yet it has been 10 days since he's been discharged. In true malpractice, they even witheld his charts, urinalysis, and blood stats, even tho a new supplement relied on them. It took many calls to eventually get a redacted version of his stats. I was hung up on multiple times by arianna, briana, and another female who refused to say their name. When I call now, they instantly hang up on me. Briana even said that no one named ariana worked there. Worst of the worst. Blood money. Looking back on their negative reviews they post a cookie-cutter HR response to all to look like they are listening- they're not. Will update as well when they do so. Despite all the blood, xrays, and urinalys's done we were given no info. When visiting our pet the I asked the tech what caused the situation, what could be done in the future to prevent as we sadly don't have another 5k to whip out, and the blond technician (also not wearing a name tag) said, well if he's blocked once he'll block again and be right back here". Zero empathy or tact. Dr. sarah wallace originally quoted us about $1k. Then when we didnt flinch hard, she literally said
