- MDMichael Douglas5 days ago1.0Petco is USUALLY good. I saw the reviews before going here and let me tell you, they don’t lie. The first thing I noticed was how bad the care for the animals is around the store, most of the fish tanks have one or more dead fish, were filthy dirty, and in poor condition. The employee who “greeted” us was immediately rude, aggressive and kept the same “you shouldn’t be here” attitude towards us AND other customers, so much so that when we arrived outside by our car other customers had gathered and were talking about the rude employee. After we came back and picked up our dog from grooming, we found he had barely been trimmed and his hair was the same length across his whole body as when he started, the only difference was slightly less hair on his head. All 3 of the employees we interacted with were rude to us and other customers while we were there.
