Love this Petco! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The grooming department does a wonderful job of grooming all 4 of my dogs. Cera is awesome with our dogs, she knows each of their personalities & their likes and dislikes when grooming them. Thank you for having such a great store with caring employees! 1. Hope & Domino 2. I’m not usually one to leave reviews but I left the store today feeling pretty bummed out after seeing the reptiles. There were black beetles in the enclosures, with one of them taking bites out of a baby corn snake whose scales were in pretty bad condition already. There were also crickets in their enclosure, I assume given as food, but corn snakes (and almost all other snakes) won’t eat crickets/insects; And like that beetle, hungry crickets will actually go after the snake for food. The enclosure’s humidity was at desert levels when those snakes need to be closer to 40%-60%. I know reptile care is pretty specific to small group of us and probably not a big money maker for the store, but if the store can’t manage the basic care of an animal, especially when it’s printed on the little placard attached to the enclosures, maybe it shouldn’t be the ones selling them. And this isn’t a dig on the store’s employees at all, even vets can’t be experts on every type of animal care. Just a sad situation that I wanted to bring some attention to. This store is always clean, organized and the employees are super friendly and helpful when I’ve needed it - I’ll definitely continue shopping here, I’m just hoping that maybe next time I wont leave feeling like an urgent rescue situation is needed 🙂 - I appreciate the response but I'd much rather that time be spent on the reptiles than on the phone with me, as they're the ones actually needing assistance. I have a few things I need to pickup at the store this week, so I'm looking forward to seeing some happy reptiles!
