  This was our first visit to a Petco Grooming Salon. Everyone was so nice! The gentleman wanted to file HoneyBearie's nails instead of clipping them. It was very quick and painless. My dog seemed to really enjoy that so we are going to keep going back. She's getting a bath next week. She was going to get her nails done with the bath, but getting the nails done became an emergency, so we went in right away to get that done. He offered to do the bath when we were there but I needed to wait on that, to get it done after I get paid on Friday. I really love the $5.00 discounts on weekdays! When I get my own transportation, we will be in a lot more often. I don't like using the Paratransit buses since one of their drivers tried to murder my PTSD Service Dog on April 3rd.

  Nine has been grooming my princess for quite some time now and yesterday was the first time she did her little brother because he is finally old enough. They both look SO cute. I keep calling them Instagram dogs because they are adorable. 😂 Nine always does an amazing job!

  I brought my girl Lassie in today for a deshedding appointment for the first time at this location. I usually go to the petsmart on palouse but their app was glitched and wouldnt let me schedule so i tried this petco instead. the staff did a wonderful job with her. Shes part sheltie so was shedding alot and needed a deshed. they took off so much hair! The only service i don’t get is anything related to the nails as she will flail to try to get away. At some point during the grooming, Lassie’s paw got caught on the water drain and her nail came off. it was bleeding a fair amount when i picked her up and she wouldnt let anyone get near it to put stoppage powder. During the chaos of trying to get the bleeding to stop, the entire grooming staff and the manager did an amazing job. offered to take her to the vet free of charge but being a holiday, i opted against it due to the quoted long wait. I remembered I had a first aid kit in my car so the staff helped hold her down so i could get a bandage and gauze wrapped on her paw. They gave me a discount for my service and the manager gave me some wound care products free of charge. I DO NOT BLAME THE STAFF AT ALL!! This kind of stuff happens sometimes and her nail getting caught on a drain was not their fault at all from how i see it. It was an accident and I am so very appreciative on how the staff and the manager reacted towards the situation. I left a $20 tip for the groomer but almost feel like i didnt leave enough due to how amazing they were about it. I definitely recommend this location due to the attentive care and concern they showed towards Lassie today. Dogs nails break off. its not uncommon. My dog is just very uncooperative and loves to bleed.. Thank you to everyone working today for the tender love and care expressed towards her, and I will be back if they let me haha.

  Yesterday was my first time using Petco grooming. I couldn’t be happier! They all seemed very friendly and my baby came home sparkling clean with trimmed toenails. I will definitely be back!

  I regularly come to this Petco for groom even though it is not the closest to where I live. The staff are incredible with my dogs, especially my grumbly boxer mastiff. I have never had a bad experience and all my dogs come out so clean and happy.
