This location has a hard time finding welcoming employees. For years at this point you walk in, Nobody says hi or welcome in. They purposely avoid looking at you because they don't want to help you and if they do its a "Oh god" look and an eye roll. Not to mention the revolving door of employees. I think I am finally done with this place and will spend my money at a local retailer that appreciates my and your business.

I got some Blue Buffalo apple and yogurt dog treats for my dog. They gave him terrible diarrhea so I returned the treats. Because I had used points to get the treats, I wasn't allowed to get anything in exchange for the returned items. I wasn't even refunded the points. I will not be returning to Petco anytime soon.

Valerie in grooming is awesome! She's did a full grooming service with a shampoo, haircut, nail trim for both of my mom's dogs that have never been professionally groomed before and both of my mom's dogs turned out to be so cute and they smelled so good and even though the grooming salon in Petco was very very busy, I feel like Valerie still took her time and treated my mom's dogs with patience as far as I could see. Thank you Valerie! And Tia one of the other groomers came out and talker to me while I waited & she was really pleasant to talk to. I'll be a return customer for sure.

I left this store feeling extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled. On Friday at approximately 6:15 p.m., I noticed a juvenile bearded dragon that appeared to be in very poor condition. He was lethargic, visibly struggling to breathe, and wasn’t behaving normally. I wasn’t the only person who noticed—other customers commented on his condition as well. I informed the checkout employee before leaving because I was concerned for the animal’s welfare. Two days later, on Sunday around 2:15 p.m., I called the store to confirm that the bearded dragon was still there. I explained that I would be coming to purchase him. Although I am not personally set up to care for a reptile with medical needs, I had already contacted a well-respected local reptile sanctuary that was prepared to immediately take him in for rehabilitation and proper veterinary care. I made arrangements to make the over an hour drive directly after purchasing the bearded dragon. After driving 30 minutes to the store, I asked the front desk for assistance with purchasing the bearded dragon. An employee came over, looked at him, and then told me they weren’t sure they could sell him because of his condition. Even after I explained that he would be going directly to an experienced reptile rescue that was ready to rehabilitate him, they refused to let me purchase him and instead took him into the back room. I genuinely hope the bearded dragon received the care he clearly appeared to need. My intention was never to obtain a discounted or “free” animal—it was simply to get him into the hands of people equipped to help him as quickly as possible. While I appreciate that stores may have policies regarding the sale of sick animals, the lack of communication and the decision to prevent a confirmed rescue placement after I had made the trip was incredibly frustrating. I hope this experience encourages a review of how situations involving visibly ill animals are handled in the future.
