Giving 4 stars only because of my experience with 1 vet dr in particular. I recently adopted a boxer puppy, and we see dr thrasher(great guy). As puppies usually are, at some point they injure themselves in some way, puppies are puppies. My puppy injured her tail as well as indicating pain by tucking her back side under herself, and I was able to get her seen the same day(no problem there). We see a dr slyes. Upon check in and getting into a room she takes a look at her tail and tells me it's un healed trauma from being docked.......my puppy is 16 ish weeks old at this point and in order to dock a tail, you do so with in the first 3 days after being born. Id also like to preface that I adopted my girl from a reputable breeder who has been breeding boxers for years. So tell me how that can happen. When I looked at it, it honestly looked like she just scraped the tip of her tail. She then wanted to bandage it. I asked if I can be told what kind of bandage being used so I can do this at home. I was told by dr slyes that she wanted me to come back the following day just to change the bandage and double check the healing process. At first I was like, okay I understand that, sure let's schedule a time. Come back in the following day, takes my puppy back and "changes the bandage ". We do this for 3 DAYS. I kept asking what is being used so I can do this at home because I cannot keep spending 100 dollars a day JUST for a bandage change, and to no avail, was told nothing and that I needed to keep coming in to get this done. I had finally had enough, I had a busy week ahead to which I TOLD THEM several times. They called me multiple times to get me to come in again JUST for a bandage change. Even tried to get me to reschedule an appointment I had for my puppy on a day I MADE TIME FOR. Now we see dr thrasher and overall love the dr, he's great and does amazing with my pup. Upon further investigation during my puppies checkup that had no correlation to her tail, come to find out, an ointment was ordered for her tail that I NEVER knew or was told about. It's not even on the paperwork. Dr slyes was using this "ointment " on my dog without telling me or even asking. Again I only came in to "JUST CHANGE A BANDAGE FOR 3 DAYS" . Ad long as we don't see dr slyes I have no problem continuing care here. Dr slyes is very passive and doesnt seem to care about the animals especially when asked by the pet parent what's being used so I can continue the care at home. I mean most vets give you all the info needed when caring for a pet that has an injury or surgery and gives you tips and tricks to do at home to save money. Clearly dr slyes doesnt care about that or doesnt seem to trust me. Overall 4 stars only because of that particular vet.

First visit to the vet in a long time. Overall process was simple, they attended to what my dog needed and didn't try to sell us a bunch of stuff we didn't need. Pricing was transparent and reasonable. Overall, very happy.

Had an appointment for today May 29th at 3. I show up 10 minutes early and the receptionist could not find my appointment. I made the appointment via phone call because I had previous issues with their online appointment scheduling. Even though it was their mistake, they refused to see her. I have a cat who is anxious in carrier/car (as most cats are) so not only did I get out of work early but I freaked my kitty out in the carrier for no reason! There was zero care from the tech Amanda so I will NOT be returning back to Banfield.

We subscribed 4 pets: 2 cats and 2 dogs, to Banfield care plans. We've canceled all care plans and will never again trust our pets to this commercial enterprise. This week, totally impatient vet tech anesthesiologist did her best to kill my dog during teeth cleaning. I reported this to Banfield. No response. They are clearly hiring any tech they can, regardless of their proficiency. Do NOT trust your pets to these sadistic, insensitive, horrible people. Over the past year, the staff has become extremely short and rushed. Extra charges have gone FAR above reasonable... $89 for nail trim and ear cleaning. $700 to $1200 for tooth extraction during routine tooth cleaning.
