  I completely understand a chain pet store is going to be full of bull shit, but this was the worst I’ve seen in a long time. So many sick and/or dead animals. I have been going here for about a year for my cats and I can confidently say I’m never going back. It was appalling. The employees are friendly and I’m not necessarily blaming them; everyone has to work, I get it. But the misinformation I’ve heard being spewed and the mistreatment of every animal in there is unjustifiable. Support local pet stores and for the love of god adopt don’t shop.

  Kota is the best groomer my dogs has ever had. She is patient, kind and does a specatular job! Overall, the Sequim Petco staff is helpful and courteous. I will keep coming back!

  Tried to save a fish on the brink of death from here but he was too far gone. You guys should be ashamed for not keeping a better eye on the betas if you're going to keep them in those tiny jail cells. Also the humidity on all of the reptile and amphibian tanks were atrocious. I always find the staff to be helpful and kind but do better 🫠

  Consistently bad service here. I’m a reptile guy, and I’m usually able to look past the poor treatment of their reptiles here because it’s a big franchise and it’s not as simple as just supplying all the perfect size enclosures and care for every reptile they get in the store, however, recently it seems to be getting worse, with reptiles frequently looking ill and injured. On top of the animal treatment, I have 3 reptiles of my own; lizards, and I feed them a mixed diet of various worms and crickets for the 2 geckos and a mix of veggies, fruit, and crickets for the bearded dragon. THREE WEEKS I have been trying to get crickets for my animals and the store simply has none. Every time I ask when they’ll be getting more it’s always “we haven’t been getting deliveries of them” or “they just sold out yesterday” or “they were dead so we had to dispose of them”. I have been coming almost daily to check and they never have any. How am I supposed to get the proper food for my animals if they’re never in stock? I’m sure there’s other people in town who have reptiles that rely on crickets as well….? It’s difficult when the town only has one singular pet store that sells crickets, I can’t drive over an hour every few days to get them from out of town when I have two jobs to manage. I’ve been having to substitute the crickets for extra mealworms for my reptiles, but when you have 3 large lizards that eat close to 20 worms every two days, it gets expensive, considering PetCo sells mealworms for nearly $30 for their larger sized containers. This place needs to figure out how to be a reliable pet store or people will stop giving it business.
