- RRRajani Janaki RamJul 25, 20261.0I understand and respect that Petco has policies in place regarding grooming dogs with certain medical conditions, and if visible tumors are outside their liability guidelines, that’s their decision to make. My disappointment is with how the situation was handled. During the online booking process, I disclosed that my dog has a tumor. At no point did I see any indication that a visible tumor would automatically make him ineligible for grooming. If that is the policy, it should be clearly communicated before customers book appointments and make the trip. More importantly, the interaction itself was upsetting. The groomer didn’t make me or my dog feel welcome. The way he looked at and approached my dog felt dismissive and uncomfortable, as though my dog was something to avoid. My dog wasn’t bleeding, leaking, or in distress—he simply has a large tumor. Regardless of whether Petco could perform the service, every pet deserves to be treated with kindness and dignity, especially when they’re dealing with a medical condition. I left feeling less disappointed about the canceled appointment than I did about how my dog was treated. Clear communication and a little compassion would have made this a very different experience.

Cleanest tanks I have seen in the greater Seattle area without sacrificing the quality of the tank biomes. I've never had anything die from here.
