  I took my dog to Northgate Veterinarian in mid-December last year for a senior wellness appointment. The vet was friendly, but the visit felt like a heavy sales pitch for every possible service. I could only afford the senior blood panel, which cost me my last $550. They assured me results would be back within 24 hours. I never received a call. When I tried calling them the next day, their phone was disconnected. Texting their callback number and emailing also got no response. Their phone stayed disconnected for nearly ten days. It took over two weeks to finally get the bloodwork results. The results showed my dog had diabetes and other serious issues. They refused to prescribe any medication for the diabetes. The long delay meant my dog went untreated for critical weeks. I believe this delay contributed significantly to his decline, and he sadly passed away on February 14th. God Bless Tux! I was charged the full amount despite the complete lack of follow-up and unacceptable delay on a critical test and no prescriptions would be written without paying more money. They took all of are money and alo charged us more than triple other vets charge for a senior panel. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for veterinary care.   BAD SERVICE! I requested my pet’s prescription to be extended in early April. By mid April, it still wasn’t done. When I asked for clarification, the front desk staff with green hair, raised her voice at me. When I asked who forgot the task, I wasn’t given an answer just told to ‘move forward.’ This lack of follow through and communication made the experience very disappointing. If you want something from them make sure you follow up!

  The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Had a promo that was very helpful but the folks were so awesome, I'll be back!

  When I booked the appt I was cut off while asking questions, but gave the benefit of the doubt and booked anyways. I arrived around 5min late, and waited a bit more as receptionist was on a call (totally understandable and I was fine to wait). After being checked in I spoke with a vet tech who was kind but unable to answer most of my questions. The vet came in and was also kind and had suggestions pre-physical, but never checked in after with me on how my animal was doing or how to proceed moving forward. I left the appointment feeling uncared for, and not knowing fully how my animal was doing. I called to explain my frustration but was met with “you were late.” I received an email from the vet that went over the stuff we did talked about in the pre-physical, but no explanation on how the rest of him is doing. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience.
