    Petco in Renton not a good place to take your animal very rude lady in the grooming area. I was there at the scheduled time. I wasn’t sure where it was supposed to go so I went to the I went to the cashier. She told me to go wait into the lobby. I went to the lobby and my dog started to sniff around to go to the bathroom so I took him out. It made me about 10 minutes late for my appointment because I wasn’t sure where I was going, and then my dog had to go to the bathroom and she had seen me at 11:45 when I came in . I asked her if she just wanted me to let my dog go poop on her floor instead of taking him outside so that I wouldn’t be late for my appointment anyways I had to go to a totally different Petco to get my dog groomed And there was three groomers there. I don’t recommend the Petco in Renton

    Booked a grooming appointment for my anxious dog earlier this week and made note that her vet has said to give her trazodone to help with her anxiety during grooming. A Low dose anti anxiety medication that does NOT in anyway work as a sedative it just relieves the stress and anxiety she has regarding grooming. Received a call about 20 min before her appointment informing me that they were canceling her appointment due to her being medicated. My issue isn’t with the fact that they won’t work with medicated dogs (even though that is a issue in and of itself) my issue is the fact that I was called 20 min before her appointment when they had all of yesterday to inform me and all of this morning to inform me. I was driving to her appointment and had already given her medication when I received this call. Waste of my time and my pets time as well as a waste of my resources giving her her medication when it was unneeded and a waste of gas. It’s a lack of time management and lack of professionalism from petco team and I will not be returning. Any pet owners out there with anxious animals I do not recommend petco as they obviously don’t care.

    Mary is the BEST. Very gentle and understanding of my dogs needs. She treats the very well and makes them look beautiful
